1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using EvenlyAI, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

EvenlyAI is an expense splitting application that helps users track shared expenses, calculate balances, and settle debts with friends, family, and roommates.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use this service
  • One person may not maintain more than one account

4. Subscription Plans

4.1 Free Plan

  • Up to 3 groups
  • Up to 10 members per group
  • Equal split only
  • 90 days expense history

4.2 Pro Plan

  • Unlimited groups and members
  • All split types (Equal, Exact, Percentage, Shares)
  • Unlimited expense history
  • Receipt scanning and export features
  • Priority support

4.3 Pricing

  • India: ₹399/month or ₹2,999/year (inclusive of GST)
  • International: $3.99/month or $29.99/year

5. Billing & Cancellation

  • Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time
  • Upon cancellation, your Pro features remain active until the end of the current billing period
  • No refunds are provided for partial billing periods
  • After your subscription ends, your account will revert to the Free plan

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal purpose
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Create false or misleading expense records
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service
  • Use automated systems to access the service without permission
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

7. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create (expense descriptions, notes, etc.). By using our service, you grant us a license to store, display, and process your content as necessary to provide the service.

8. Intellectual Property

EvenlyAI and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by EvenlyAI and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

EvenlyAI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for any financial decisions made based on information in the app. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EvenlyAI and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
